Brett Ferres handed two-match ban
Leeds forward Brett Ferres has been handed a two-match suspension for the use of knees.
The 32-year-old received the two-match penalty notice from the match review panel for Grade B use of knees in the Rhinos’ 26-22 defeat against Catalans Dragons in Perpignan on Saturday.
Ferres will miss Leeds’ upcoming games against Castleford Tigers and Hull Kingston Rovers.
Meanwhile, Wigan Warriors back-rower Joe Greenwood has been handed a one-match penalty notice for a Grade A intentionally standing on the ankle of an opponent in Sunday’s 30-22 win at Salford Red Devils.
Greenwood will be unavailable for Sunday’s home game against Catalans.
