Dewsbury have signed loose forward Ellis Robson on a month’s loan from Warrington.

The 20-year-old is a product of Warrington’s academy, having come through the club’s scholarship and academy systems.

A former captain of the Wolves’ Under-19s, Robson earned himself a full-time contract at the end of last season after impressive performances in the Under-19s Academy League.

Robson has played several times for Championship side Rochdale Hornets this season via dual-registration, but he will now join the Rams for the next four weeks.

A Wolves spokesperson said: “Robson has made a number of appearances for our partner club Rochdale Hornets this season, however this loan move will provide Robson with regular game time and continue to support his development.

“All at the club wish him well for his time away from Warrington.”
