Swinton youngster joins Oldham on loan
Oldham have signed utility-back Harry Aaronson on an initial one-month loan deal from Swinton.
The 21-year-old came through the scholarship system at Huddersfield before joining the Lions on a permanent basis.
Aaronson, who can play on the wing or at full-back, is in contention to make his debut in Sunday’s 1895 Cup clash with Doncaster at the Vestacare Stadium.
On signing Aaronson, Oldham coach Scott Naylor said: “Harry slotted in well with us at training and it was good to have him on board.
“We can give him game time and that’s what Swinton want, so it works well for both clubs.”
Aaronson added: “Oldham need some reinforcements on the wing and I’m delighted to be given this opportunity.”
