Craig Hall signs new Hull KR contract

Utility back Craig Hall has pledged his allegiance to Hull KR after signing a new deal until the end of 2020. 

The 31-year old, who is one of only two players to have played every minute for the Robins this term, will remain with Tony Smith’s side after his impressive performances this campaign.

Hall has scored 10 tries in 20 appearances in 2019, kicking a further 18 goals. He also crossed 14 times in eight matches last year after re-joining the club midway through the year.

Originally brought in as a winger, the former Hull FC, Wakefield, Toronto and Leigh man has shown his versatility, appearing at centre and also full-back, standing in for the now-fit Adam Quinlan.

Commenting on his new contract, Hall said: “It’s been good to get it done and it’s another 12 months at the club which I’m happy about.

“I want to keep doing what I’m doing, I want to do whatever I can to keep playing for this great club.

“We have a bit of a joke here that me and Drinky (Josh Drinkwater) have played every minute of every game so far this year. I don’t think age matters really!

“The fans have been great since I came back, and were great when I left – some probably didn’t want me to leave. It’s great for me to play in front of this crowd for another year and hopefully it’ll be a few more years to come yet.”
