Wakefield confirm Craig Huby departure
Wakefield have confirmed that prop Craig Huby has left the club by mutual consent.
The 33-year-old arrived at Trinity ahead of the 2017 season and was a key member of Chris Chester’s squad over the last few years.
However, Huby suffered a serious shoulder earlier this year which has sidelined him since. He made 50 appearances for Trinity, scoring three tries.
Huby commented: “I’ve really enjoyed my time at Wakefield over the last few years.
“There’s a real good team spirit and feel good factor about the club.
“I’d like to thank the supporters too, who have been great since I joined the club.
“I’m backing the lads to finish the season well and get in that top five.”
