Sean O’Loughlin sidelined for up to a month with achilles injury
Wigan boss Adrian Lam has confirmed that Captain Sean O’Loughlin is set to be out of action for four weeks after suffering an achilles injury.
The 36-year-old left the field in the second minute of Wigan’s clash with Salford last Friday and is set for a spell on the sidelines.
Despite their early setback, Wigan went on to topple the Red Devils and moved back into the play-off places with nine games remaining.
Ahead of this week’s clash with Hull KR, Lam confirmed that he is set to be without the England international for their forthcoming matches, including next week’s derby meeting with table-toppers St Helens.
The Warriors Head Coach also confirmed that he will be without Ben Flower and Joe Greenwood this weekend, but expects Dan Sarginson to be back in the mix for Friday’s game at the DW Stadium.
