Paul Gallen to play final game of rugby league on English soil

Drew Darbyshire

It is likely that Paul Gallen will play his last ever game of rugby league in England.

Gallen will hang up his boots at the end of the NRL season, having made over 300 appearances for Cronulla Sharks while earning 32 caps for Australia and playing 24 games for New South Wales.

And the Paul Gallen Allstars will face Wakefield Trinity Allstars at the Mobile Rocket Stadium on Wednesday, October 16.

The evening is in support of the Life for a Kid charity along with the Teenager Cancer Trust.

Former Trinity player Jamie Rooney has also confirmed he will take part in the game.

Wakefield are now inviting 15 players to play in the match. If you want to play against Paul Gallen and keep the Trinity Allstars jersey, email: James.stephenson@wakefieldtrinity.com
