Fan favourite to leave Salford

Salford legend Paul Highton will leave the club at the end of the month.
The 42-year-old will depart his role as team and welfare manager of the Red Devils to take up a position with charity Rugby League Cares.
A former Wales international, Highton made 210 appearances as a player for Salford between 1998-08.
Highton said: “I’d like to take this opportunity to thank every player, staff member and especially the fans for welcoming me into the Salford family from day one way back in 1998.
“I will be officially leaving my post as team and welfare manager at the Reds on August 29 to take up a position at Rugby League Cares, where I will be working alongside some amazing people who help to change the lives of current players and the wider rugby league community.
“As sad as I am to be leaving my second home that is the Red Devils – I’m extremely excited about this new chapter and challenge.
“I wish everyone associated to this great club the very best and I’m sure I’ll see you around on my frequent returns to the AJ Bell Stadium in various capacities.”
