Tui Lolohea primed for Headingley return with in-form Salford Red Devils. He told the Mirror: “If we can continue like this, there’s a genuine chance we could make the Grand Final.”
There is an interesting piece with Shaun Edwards in The Guardian. He says he decided not to take the role of head coach at Wigan because he questioned his experience for the job. However, he said: “I think they will win the Super League again this year.”
There is a feature piece in the Yorkshire Post on how Matt Frawley’s return has lifted Huddersfield. Frawley said: “It’s been an up and down season for the whole team and myself personally.”
Wigan are hoping to fend off interest from the NRL to land one of England’s most promising young forwards, report Wigan Today.
Blake Austin could make his return to action for Warrington when they take on Wakefield this Friday, report Warrington Guardian.
Castleford coach Daryl Powell says it will be an “incredible effort” if the Tigers qualify for the Super League play-offs. He told the Yorkshire Evening Post: “We feel we are capable of doing that, but it comes down to one game really.”

St Helens are set to break a record for the biggest title winning gap since the Rugby Football League’s birth in 1895.
The current record stands at 15 points, which is held by Wigan when they won Division One in the 1986/87 season. Leigh did the same in the Championship in 2014.
St Helens are currently ahead of second-placed Warrington by 16 points.
