Carl Ablett confirms he will retire at end of 2019
Leeds veteran Carl Ablett has confirmed he will retire from rugby league at the end of the season.
The 33-year-old will hang up his boots as a one-club man, having came through the ranks at the Rhinos.
Ablett has made 324 appearances for Leeds since making his professional debut in 2004, scoring 77 tries.
The back-rower also earned six caps for England between 2012-13.
Ablett has won seven Super League titles, two Challenge Cups, two League Leaders’ Shields and a World Club Challenge.
He will join fellow Leeds legend Jamie Jones-Buchanan in retiring from the game at the end of the season.
