Wakefield impose social media “blackout” ahead of D-Day
Wakefield players are not allowed to go on social media ahead of Friday’s relegation battle against London.
Wakefield, Huddersfield, Hull KR and London all sit joint bottom of the Super League table on 20 points, with just one round remaining.
Trinity could still stay up if they lose to the Broncos, should Hull KR and Huddersfield lose against Salford and Catalans respectively.
Wakefield coach Chris Chester revealed: “My job is just to make sure the prep is good and try and take the pressure off those guys.
“We’ve had a social media blackout this week and a press blackout. The players are doing their bit.”
