- The Official Super League Annual 2012, by Neil Barraclough – Perfect stocking filler for the youngsters in your family.
- Benji: My Story, by Benji Marshall and Glenn Jackson – he’s got all the moves, but is Benji’s book just as good?
- The King of Brilliance: James Lomas, by Graham Morris – Like rugby league? Like history? This is for you.
- The Bald Truth, by Keith Senior and Peter Smith – The highest profile release of 2011 lived up the hype.
- From Grass to Glass, by Paul Loughlin and Andrew Quirke – Heart-warming, funny, nostalgic. An entertaining read from one of Britain’s best ever centres.
- From Hull to Hell and Back, by Lee Crooks and Vince Groak – Crooks is honest and amusing in the surprise hit of 2011.
- Being John Stankevitch, by John Stankevitch – A must-read for all young players, Stankevitch lays bare all the gory details of life after rugby league.
- A Welshman in Halifax: Garfield Owen, by Andrew Hardcastle – A well-researched biography of one of Halifax’s finest.
- The Warrior: Jeff Grayshon MBE, by Maurice Bamford – How one man played professional rugby league until his mid-40s. Remarkable.
