Featherstone have handed outside-back Conor Carey a new one-year deal.

The 24-year-old scored 10 tries in 24 appearances for Rovers in the Championship last season.

Carey said: “I’m happy to be signed up for a second season at Featherstone.

“We have a talented squad that we’ve managed to add to. I’m excited to work under a new coach (James Webster) as well.

“Hopefully I can produce more of the same in year two but with more consistency. I’m looking to help this club go one step further than we did last year.”

Rovers football manager, Steve Gill, added: “Conor was an important part of the club’s success and culture last season as well as being very versatile in playing both wing and centre.

“He is a great addition to the squad, and we are really pleased to have him at the club for another season.”
