Wests Tigers sign Samoan international
Wests Tigers have announced the signing of Samoan international Zane Musgrove on a two-year deal.
Musgrove, 23, made his first grade debut in 2016 and has made 27 appearances for the South Sydney Rabbitohs, and also represented Samoa at the 2017 Rugby League World Cup.
He had previously signed with the Wests Tigers in late-2018, but his contract was not registered after he was charged with assault with an act of indecency.
He was sentenced to a 12-month intensive corrections order, and was allowed by the NRL to resume training with the club in November and made the decision to conditionally approve his registration.
“I’m really excited to get on the field with Wests Tigers,” he said.
“I’ve been able to see the progress that Michael Maguire has made with this team in the last 12 months and I’m looking forward to being able to play a part in us really stepping forward now and starting to achieve some strong success.”
