Four players injured following bruising All Stars clash

Indigenous All Stars head coach Laurie Daley has revealed that Canterbury Bulldogs forward Chris Smith is set to miss the entirety of 2020 after suffering an ACL injury.

The utility forward, 26, picked up the unfortunate injury at Cbus Super Stadium on Saturday and is now set to be absent for an extended period of time.

He was not the only player to pick up an injury in the ferocious All Stars clash, with former Warrington half-back Tyrone Roberts leaving the field with an ankle injury.

St George prop Josh Kerr (knee) and Cronulla’s Wade Graham (ankle) also failed to finish the match.

The four injuries added insult to injury for the Indigenous All Stars, who let slip a 16-12 lead in the second half, conceding 18 unanswered points.

It awaits to be seen whether Roberts, Kerr and Graham can be fit in time for the start of the NRL campaign, which gets underway when Parramatta host Canterbury on March 12.
