Leeds make Headingley available for emergency services
Leeds have made a classy gesture by making the Emerald Headingley Stadium available to the emergency frontline services.
The Headingley Lodge has been made available for frontline workers who may need to isolate themselves from family who are showing symptoms of coronavirus.
Headingley has also been made available for any other needs the local authorities may require.
A club statement read: “We would like to thank all our members, supporters and sponsors for their continued support during this difficult time.
“We are aware that at present times are tough but we are confident we can call come through this together and we will soon be back cheering on our men and women on the field again.”
The Rhinos have also confirmed they have furloughed players and staff in line with government requirements.
