Orr signs new Quins deal
Harlequins stand-off Danny Orr has agreed a new one-year contract at Twickenham Stoop.
Orr, 31, has been one of Quins’ stand-out players this season as they chase a play-off spot and is currently captaining the side in the absence of club captain Rob Purdham.
He said: “Every year that I’ve been at Harlequins the team and the club have taken huge strides forward. I’ve been part of that and want to be involved in seeing it through.
“I’m very happy playing my rugby here, and my family and I really enjoy life in London.”
Head coach Brian McDermott, said: “Danny has been one of our most dependable players over the last three years and I’m really pleased he has extended his contract.
“This club has a transient past, but in recent years we’ve established consistency with a strong nucleus of players which has given us a real boost. Danny has played a central role in this and I’m delighted he will continue to do so.”
