Prop Leuluai commits to Salford
Kiwi-born prop Phil Leuluai has ended speculation over his future by signing a new deal with Salford.
Leuluai, 32, had been linked with a move to Leigh Centurions but has now committed himself to the Reds, signing a one-year deal.
He said: “I am really, really happy to be here next year. The fans and everybody at the club have been nothing but great with me and it will be a pleasure to play for the Reds in 2010.
“My family are really settled in Salford, my boys play in the local amateur leagues and every since we moved to the city from Sydney we have been made to feel very much at home.”
Leuluai has played in all but one of Salford’s Super League games this season, and is the club’s second top metre-maker.
The Samoan international joined the Reds in 2007 from NRL side Cronulla.
