Video: Mose Masoe’s children help him walk unassisted
Mose Masoe has shared a heartwarming video of his children helping him walk unassisted for the first time since suffering his career-ending injury.
The 30-year-old suffered a serious spinal injury while playing for Hull KR in a pre-season friendly against Wakefield back in January.
Masoe was told he would never play again and Robins coach Tony Smith at the time said it would be considered a success if he could walk again.
But the former Samoa international recovered at Pinderfields Hospital in Wakefield and returned to his family home at the end of April to be alongside his wife and children.
Masoe’s children – who he calls his ‘home physios’ – are helping their father walk unassisted for the first time since his injury at the start of 2020.
