Mounis banned for cup clash

Catalans will be without second-rower Gregory Mounis for Saturday’s Challenge Cup quarter final at Batley through suspension.

Mounis, 25, was sent off for a dangerous tackle on Luke Swain during the Dragons’ defeat to Salford last weekend.

The French international was also fined £300 by the RFL Disciplinary Committee.

Catalans travel to Championship side Batley for a place in the last four of the Challenge Cup, looking to reach the final of the competition for the second time in four seasons.
