Paul ruled out for up to two months

Leigh scrum-half Robbie Paul has been ruled out for six to eight weeks with a groin injury.

Paul, 34, picked up the injury in the Centurions’ 30-16 victory over Widnes a fortnight ago.

Leigh boss Ian Millward said: “Robbie picked up an injury during the Widnes game, and it required surgery. The operation was a success, and we expect him to be back with us in six to eight weeks.”

Paul has been an integral part of Millward’s side this season since signing from Salford in the close season, and he has helped Leigh to second in the Championship table.
