Oldham release new shirt in support of NHS

Oldham have unveiled a new shirt in support of the NHS during the coronavirus pandemic.

Oldham assistant coach Brendan Sheridan was hospitalised with the virus and put into a coma for two weeks. He was released from hospital after beating the virus and is continuing his recovery from his home in Dewsbury.

Half of the profits from the shirt sales will be donated to local NHS charities.

Oldham chairman Chris Hamilton said: “The club is showing its appreciation of the amazing work done by the NHS and other key workers during the pandemic.

“We have been wanting to do something like this for a while but it is only now, with lockdown easing, that factories are able to accept orders.”
