Poasa Faamausili to stay on loan at New Zealand Warriors
New Zealand Warriors are set to keep Poasa Faamausili on loan from Sydney Roosters until further notice.
The 24-year-old prop was on a one-month loan deal with the Warriors – and the two clubs have come to an agreement this week to extend his loan.
Interim Warriors coach Todd Payten said: “Trent (Robinson, Roosters coach) and the Roosters have been outstanding with the attitude towards us.
“They have agreed to keep him in our system until they need him back so he’ll be here for as long as they are injury-free. He has been really good and has fitted in well. He’s pretty vocal around the group which has been great.
“I can’t 100% confirm it is until the end of the season but he is happy for the arrangement to continue. They can can call him back whenever and that is as much as I understand it.”
