Catalans to return to training on July 6
Catalans will return to training on Monday, July 6.
The Dragons will be back at the Stade Gilbert Brutus for the first time since March 16 to prepare for the Super League restart which gets back underway on August 2.
Catalans will be operating in line with French and UK government guidelines as well as the protocols created by the RFL to ensure the health and wellbeing of our players, staff and wider community.
Dragons coach Steve McNamara said: “We are looking forward to getting the whole team back together on July 6.
“I’ve seen all the players individually and they look very fit and healthy. Their discipline during this tough period will give them the best opportunity to be ready for the St Helens game on August 2.
“The staff have planned meticulously for the return and the players have certainly played their part in staying ready for the next phase of our programme.
“We appreciate the support we have received from all our partners and supporters to help us get to this point, and whilst restrictions around our training environment won’t allow them to attend training as they normally do we hope to see them all soon.
“Finally, whilst we are delighted to return to training and are excited by the prospect of playing, we spare a thought for all those and their families who have suffered loss due to the COVID-19 illness.”
