Tigers announce friendlies

Wests have announced a competitive list of friendly fixtures ahead of the NRL‘s big kick-off in March.

The Tigers will play three matches against North Queensland, Parramatta and the Sydney Roosters, all in February.

The matches will give coach Tim Sheens an opportunity to evaluate his squad prior to their opening round clash at Canterbury in mid March.

The Tigers have made no new signings since the end of their last NRL campaign, in which they made it to the preliminary final, but lost to eventual winners St George.

However, they have re-signed the likes of Liam Fulton, Wade McKinnon, Gareth Ellis and Taniela Tuiaki.

Trial 1:

Friday. February 11: vs Cowboys,Brothers Rugby League Club, Townsville. Time TBC.

Trial 2:

Saturday, February 19: vs Parramatta, Campbelltown Sports Stadium. Time TBC.

Trial 3

Saturday, February 26: vs Sydney Roosters, Sydney Football Stadium (Foundation Cup). Time TBC
