Bulls game on, Haven game off

Following an early pitch inspection at Gratton Stadium, the Bulls game against Champions Wigan will go ahead this afternoon as planned. Snow in Yorkshire threw the game into doubt yesterday and several amateur games were called off due to weather conditions.

Less positive news comes from the Recreation Ground in Whitehaven however, as following heavy showers, Haven’s game with Halifax in the Northern Rail Cup has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch. It is the second time in a fortnight that a game has been postponed at the venue. An alternate date has not yet been announced.
