Hunter-Paul on road to recovery

Leigh half-back Robbie Hunter-Paul has been released from hospital following a clash of heads during their win over Sheffield on Sunday.

Hunter-Paul, 35, was stretchered off during the 68-6 win over the Eagles but is expected to make a full recovery.

“I have a little bit of nerve damage that will probably take a week to settle down.” Said Hunter-Paul.

“I’d like to thank everybody that has contacted the club to ask how I’m doing, and I’d like to re-assure everyone that it won’t be long before I’m back out there.”
