Lodge recovering after accident
Manly centre Kyle Lodge is recovering at home, after being involved in a serious car accident today.
Lodge, 23, was on his way to training when his vehicle was struck by a bus at around 8am this morning.
He suffered shoulder injury and concussion in the smash and will be monitored closely by the club during the coming days.
The accident was witnessed by Lodge’s team mates Dale Cherry-Evans and Anthony Watmough, who rushed to his aid after the collision.
It is unlikely he will be named in the team that will be announced tomorrow to play against Melbourne on the weekend.
