Four match ban for Catic
Barrow forward Ned Catic has been handed a four match ban for verbally abusing a Doping Control Officer.
Catic, 32, has been found guilty of a breach of Operational Rules following the incident on February 22, and has also been fined £50.
The former Wakefield man has indicated he intends to appeal against the severity of the sentence, but is likely to miss the Raiders’ televised Championship clash with Widnes on Thursday.
Catic has been in the UK since 2005, having played in two Grand Finals for Sydney Roosters in the NRL.
