Latrell Mitchell to miss rest of season
South Sydney Rabbitohs star Latrell Mitchell will miss the rest of the season with a hamstring injury.
The 23-year-old has ruptured the proximal hamstring tendon in his left leg and will be assessed by a surgeon with a view to repairing the tendon.
Mitchell won’t feature again for the Rabbitohs in 2020 and it is too early to determine whether it would impact his preparation for the 2021 campaign.
Mitchell suffered the injury when team-mate Jaxson Paulo landed on him in a tackle in South Sydney’s 38-0 win over Parramatta on Thursday.
