Hickey signs for Harlequins

Harlequins have confirmed the signing of Australian prop-forward Jarrad Hickey from Wakefield.

The 26-year-old joins the London club from Wakefield after joining the Wildcats half way through the 2011 season having also played for Canterbury in the NRL.

Head Coach, Rob Powell commented: “Last season Jarrad gave a good indication of what he is capable of and we are keen to continue working with him to get the best out of him next season.”

Jarrad added: “I’m really excited to be heading to London to play my rugby down there next season. It’s a big move for me and I am looking forward to a big year next year.”
