In his post match interview with Sky Sports, Makinson revealed he suffered a broken bone in his hand in last week’s win over Wakefield.
“I did it last time against Wakefield on Thursday,” Makinson said.
“I broke a small bone in my hand and Louie (McCarthy-Scarsbrook) keeps on trying to tell everyone and tell everyone he’s got one as well!
“It’s alright, I keep playing on with it but that’s rugby league. It’s a tough old sport and we go again.
“It was a good display from us. We needed to fix a few things up after last week and we came really hard-nosed against a quality Wakefield side who have got a few out. I thought we played well and I’m proud of the boys.”
