Batley sign winger Brown
Batley have re-signed winger Alex Brown, hero of their Northern Rail Cup triumph in 2010, following a spell in rugby union.
Brown, 20, was previously at Huddersfield and made his debut for the Giants against St Helens in 2009.
The following season he joined the Bulldogs on a dual-registration deal, and he scored two tries, including the last minute winner, in the cup final win over Widnes at Blackpool in July.
He converted to the 15-man code in the autumn, signing for Sale Sharks, but they have since released him, and he has opted to make a return to Mount Pleasant.
