State of Origin: Predicted 17-man line-ups for Game I
Ahead of the 2020 State of Origin series that kicks off next Wednesday, we take a look at how both sides might line-up for Game I.
Due to Covid-19, the State of Origin series will be played in November for the first time in its history, with the three-game competition kicking-off on Wednesday, November 4.
NRL 2020 Premiership winners Melbourne Storm have eight players representing both Queensland and New South Wales, while Minor Premiership winners Penrith Panthers have five.
Here’s how we think the two sides will line-up…
Queensland: Brimson; Holmes, Gagai, B Lee, Allan; Munster, Cherry-Evans; Papalii, Grant, Welch, Su’A, Kaufusi, Arrow. Subs: B Hunt, Fa’asuamaleaui, Collins, Lui.
New South Wales: Tedesco; Tupou, Wighton, Crichton, Addo-Carr; Keary, Cleary; Finucane, Cook, Campbell-Gillard, Cordner, Frizell, Murray. Subs: Haas, Yeo, Paulo, Trbojevic.
