Radlinski on new badge
Wigan executive director Kris Radlinski explains why Wigan have launched a new club badge, reports Wigan Today.
Radlinski told Wigan Today: “We need to get younger fans through the gates. With the way sport is consumed now, we needed to maximise our exposure on digital platforms. And the new badge has commercial benefits, too.”
Peacock pays tribute to Graham
Jamie Peacock says James Graham will retire having changed the standards for rugby league props, reports the Mirror.
In his column for the Mirror, Peacock wrote: “He made me want to become a better player – that’s the best compliment I can give him.”
St Helens linked with London forward
St Helens are keen on London Broncos forward Dan Norman, reports League Express.
The 23-year-old came through the ranks at Widnes and joined the Broncos ahead of 2020. Norman looks set to join Saints in 2021, according to League Express.
Mansour future
The Wests Tigers and Parramatta Eels are among a host of clubs that could be in the market for Josh Mansour for next year, reports The Sydney Morning Herald.
The Penrith Panthers winger has been told he would not start next season in first grade, according to The Sydney Morning Herald.
Ellis on end to season
Gareth Ellis says after so many changes this Super League season, for the play-offs to be left alone, reports The Yorkshire Post.
In his column for The Yorkshire Post, Ellis wrote: “If I was pushed into a decision on the whole ‘should we end the Super League season early’ debate, I’d say let’s just crack on get done what needs to be done.”
Smith on Craven Park
Hull KR coach Tony Smith hopes the Robins get the chance to play at Craven Park before the end of the season, reports Hull Live.
Smith told Hull Live: “We haven’t had any home games and we’d love to have a home game before we finish if that’s possible. We’ll see what happens.”
