Rams up for Fax test

Dewsbury Rams’ Warren Jowitt believes his side are in for a stern test away to Halifax.

Halifax piled on the points against champions Featherstone last weekend, winning 60-12. 

Jowitt know his team will have to be on top form to get anything away from Karl Harrison’s side.

He said: “Halifax are a quality team. They’re quality on paper and they’re doing it on the field as well. To put 60 points on Featherstone shows how good you are.

“It’s a tough challenge, but we’ve played them in the Northern Rail Cup and it’ll be nice to see how far we’ve come since then.”
