Jermaine McGilvary sidelined for six weeks
Jermaine McGilvary will be out for six weeks after tearing a muscle in his chest.
McGilvary played for the England Knights in their 64-4 defeat of Ireland on Saturday, as a curtain raiser to the International Origin match between England and the Exiles.
He left the field after just 10 minutes of the match, and was helped off by the Knights physio.
McGilvary said: “I picked up the injury when my body was put in an awkward position in a tackle and I immediately couldn’t raise my arm.
“That meant my day went from being a real high with making my England Knights debut, to a massive low by picking up the injury.”
