Rob Burrow: A Magnificent 7 documentary to air on Friday
Sky Sports will air the Rob Burrow: A Magnificent 7 documentary before and after Friday’s Super League Grand Final.
As the Leeds legend battles motor neurone disease, Sky Sports tell the story of his remarkable career in a half-hour long feature documentary.
The 38-year-old was diagnosed with MND in 2019, just two years after he guided the Rhinos to Grand Final success in his last ever game before retiring.
Burrow won eight Super League titles, two Challenge Cups and represented his country 20 times throughout his glittering playing career.
Rob Burrow: A Magnificent 7 will be shown on Sky Sports Arena at 6:30pm and 10:30pm on Friday, November 27 – either side of this year’s Super League Grand Final between Wigan and St Helens.
