Championship 1 Play-offs: Workington v Oldham

Town co-coach Gary Charlton is boosted by the return of try-scoring winger Elliott Miller as Workington look to make it third time lucky against Oldham.

Charlton said: “They’ve beaten us twice this year, and we’ll need to be playing well to beat them.

“Hopefully we’ll get a good open game, and not infringements every two minutes.”

Dan Rooney and Peter Lupton are both ruled out, while Charlton rates Brett Carter’s chances of playing as 70/30.

Oldham’s Chris Clarke misses the trip to Cumbria after pulling a hamstring in training earlier this week.

Jamie Acton and Danny Langtree could both be included, while Valu Bentley continues to try to overcome a calf injury.

Centre David Cookson (illness) is unlikely to feature, according to acting coach Martin Roden.
