Hesketh kick starts Keighley squad for 2013
Halifax prop Sean Hesketh is among 15 players announced by Keighley as signed up for 2013.
Hesketh, 26, has previously played for Batley, Doncaster and Featherstone, as well as representing Ireland, and becomes the Cougars’ first new signing for next season.
Also joining the club for a second spell is Scott Law, who has spent the last year in Australia.
The club has also announced the retention of several players, including new player/coach Paul March, who replaces Jason Demetriou, after he opted to return Down Under at the end of the year.
The other players signed up are Craig Moss, Jessie Sheriffe, Danny Lawton, James Feather, Jamaine Wray, Andy Shickell, Neil Cherryholme, Olly Pursglove, Ryan Smith, Richie Barnett and Jamie Shepherd.
Half-back Danny Jones, who rejoined the club from Halifax at the start of the season, was already under contract having signed a two-year deal for 2012 and 2013 on his return.
