London Broncos will continue to play at the Twickenham Stoop during 2013 after agreeing terms with Harlequins RU.

The Broncos have played at The Stoop since 2006, for what is their second stint at the ground. They played two games on the road this season at Leyton Orient’s Brisbane Road and Gillingham’s Priestfield Stadium.

They will continue to play games on the road next season, but their main base will be at The Stoop.

Broncos’ chief executive Gus Mackay said: “After lengthy negotiations and discussions we have decided to remain at The Stoop for another year.

“The success of last season’s on-the-road games has given us the opportunity to continue with this concept in 2013.”

The Broncos played at the Stoop between 1997 and 1999 before moving on. When the Broncos hit financial difficulty in 2005, Harlequins RU stepped in to help the struggling rugby union club, and relocated back to The Stoop.
