Four match biting ban for Acton

New Workington signing Jamie Acton has been handed a four-match ban for biting while playing for former club Oldham.

Acton, 20, pleaded guilty to the charge which happened, ironically, against his new employers.

He admitted biting Jarrad Stack on the arm during the Championship 1 game between the two sides on September 9th.

The former Hemel Stags forward signed for the Cumbrians last month, joining ex-Hull prop Ewan Dowes at Derwent Park.
