Ex-Skolars prop joins Oxford

Ex-London Skolars prop George Osborn has joined up with Oxford ahead of the Championship 1 season.

He said said: “It is exciting times at the club, I spoke with Tony when I heard the club was being created and I wanted to be a part of it.”

Osborn will join up with former Skolars coach Tony Benson, who will lead the new club in their inaugural year.

Benson added: “I coached him at Skolars previously, he is not the biggest prop in the game but has excellent feet and defends strongly. He can also play as a back rower if needed as he has a strong pass”
