Castleford promote three youngsters to first team
Castleford have promoted three young players to the club’s first team ahead of the 2021 season.
Cain Robb has signed a two-year contract with the Tigers, while Brad Martin has extended his contract for a year and Brad Graham will remain with the club in 2021. All three have represented England at youth level.
Graham and Martin made their Super League debuts with Castleford during 2020, while Robb was called into the 21-man squad for their final game of the season against Leeds but did not feature in the matchday 17.
Castleford director of rugby Jon Wells said: “We’ve got a great group of young men here at the Tigers who are all better off after working with the first team over the past year, the quality of the young kids that are coming through is a cut above what we’ve had in the past. That is going to provide extra pressure for places and that can only be a good thing.”
