John signing confirmed by Penrith

Former Wakefield half-back Issac John has signed NRL side Penrith Panthers ahead of the 2013 season.

The 24-year-old joined the side from New Zealand Warriors in October 2011 and went onto make 15 appearance last season.

But he had been allowed  an early release from his contract at the Wildcats, allowing him to look for another club.

Joining ahead of the new campaign, John told the Penrith website “I am very excited to be joining the Panthers, and am looking forward to the opportunity to play with such a great team.”
