Murphy hoping to secure starting spot
Huddersfield Giants winger Aaron Murphy is hoping his performances of late are enough to secure a starting position in the side.
Having missed the opening two Super League games against St Helens and London Broncos which saw coach Paul Anderson opting to play Luke George instead.
The 24-year-old winger however remains confident he recent displays against Wigan and Wakefield are enough to continue in the side.
He told the Huddersfield Daily Examiner: “I’ve been pretty happy with the way I’ve played in the past couple of week, so I’m hopeful I’ll have done enough.
“I think my defence was okay, and I definitely enjoyed finally showing everyone I’ve got a bit of pace in the build up to McGillvary’s second try.”
