1 Kurt Gidley
The Australia and New South Wales full-back spent two seasons in Super League with Warrington between 2016-17. Gidley became a fan’s favourite on the terraces at the Halliwell Jones Stadium, scoring 15 tries and kicking 116 goals in 55 games for the Wolves.
2 Ade Gardner
The winger was a fan’s favourite at St Helens, scoring 173 tries in 289 games for the club between 2002-14. Gardner was named in the Super League Dream Team in 2008 and won four Challenge Cups, a Super League title and a World Club Challenge while at Saints. He earned 10 caps for Great Britain and England.
3 Matt Gidley
Gidley, the older brother of Kurt, came over to England in 2007 to play four seasons with St Helens. Gidley, who earned 17 caps for Australia and played 11 games for New South Wales, was named in the Super League Dream Team in 2008 and 2009 as well as winning two Challenge Cups and a World Club Challenge.
4 Martin Gleeson
The Great Britain and England international made more than 300 Super League appearances for Huddersfield, St Helens, Warrington, Wigan, Hull and Salford. Gleeson won two Super League titles and a Challenge Cup as well as being named in the Super League Dream Team twice.
5 Regan Grace
Grace is one the fastest players in the game right now. The Welshman has scored 63 tries in 110 games for St Helens to date and has earned six caps for Wales. Grace has won two Super League titles so far.
6 Stanley Gene
Gene is a fan’s favourite in rugby league. The Papua New Guinean made more than 300 career appearances, with more than 150 of those coming for Hull KR. He also played for Hull, Huddersfield and Bradford in Super League. Gene played for his country in three World Cups.
7 Luke Gale
Gale has made more than 300 career appearances for Doncaster, Harlequins, Bradford, Castleford and Leeds. The England international has earned nine caps for his country so far and was named the Steve Prescott Man of Steel in 2017. He was named in the Super League Dream Team three years on the spin between 2015-17.
8 James Graham
Graham hung up his boots at the end of the 2020 season and will go down as one of the greatest props of the modern era. The 53-time Great Britain and England international made 236 appearances for boyhood club Saints, was named Man of Steel in 2008, was named in three Super League Dream Teams and won a Super League title in his final season as a player.
9 Wayne Godwin
Godwin made more than 250 career appearances for Castleford, Wigan, Hull, Bradford, Salford and Dewsbury. The hooker earned three caps for England in 2004, scoring one try for his country.
10 Jerome Guisset
Guisset made his professional debut for Canberra Raiders before joining Warrington in 2000, making 125 appearances for the Wolves. The Frenchman joined Wigan in 2005 and went on to play 141 games for the Warriors before enjoying five seasons with Catalans. He earned 33 caps for his country.
11 Ben Galea
The Australian forward came over to Super League in 2008 after playing 150 games for Wests Tigers in the NRL. Galea scored 36 tries in 126 games during five seasons at the Robins before finishing his career with a season at Hull FC in 2013.
12 Lee Gilmour
Gilmour enjoyed a glittering career in Super League with Wigan, Bradford, St Helens, Huddersfield, Castleford and Wakefield, making more than 500 appearances. He represented Great Britain 15 times and Scotland three times. Gilmour won a Super League title, a World Club Challenge and a Challenge Cup.
13 Ben Garcia
Garcia has made 146 appearances for Catalans since making his first team debut in 2013 and helped the Dragons win the Challenge Cup in 2018. He has earned 11 caps for France and has played for his country in two World Cups.
