Greg Inglis wants to add value to Warrington as he settles into life in England
Greg Inglis says he hopes he can add value to Warrington as he settles into life in England.
The 33-year-old arrived in England last week and has begun pre-season training with his new club ahead of the 2021 Super League season.
Inglis has signed a one-year deal with the Wolves and is excited to start the next chapter of his stellar career.
He said: “The staff here at Warrington have welcomed me with open arms.
“I wish it was a bit warmer but it is what it is! After getting over the jet lag, we’ve been finding our bearings a little bit in between going back and forth to training and it’s been comforting to be honest.
“I just want to come here, put my best foot forward and add value to the team.
“I’m looking forward to working as a team, team always comes first in my mind. Once you get everyone working on the same page, the better you are going to be as a squad and everything else is a snowball effect and it just rolls on from that.
“I’ve come in just to give my experience and help the others with my experience but I am just really looking forward to playing alongside these guys and this team for the season and fingers crossed we will get there at the end.”

Inglis, who earned 39 caps for Australia and played 32 times for Queensland, says he fell back in love with rugby league again last year after getting into coaching.
He said: “What I miss from being away is that competitive drive and using your body as a tool so to speak, and getting back to the rhythm and daily routine that I’ve been used to for so long – it has come back in the last year.
“Getting back into coaching made me fall in love with the game again. It is the opportunity that came up that was too good to pass up.”
