Ben Te’o extends Brisbane stay
Brisbane forward Ben Te’o has extended his contract with the Broncos for the 2021 NRL campaign.
The 33-year-old returned to the Broncos last year to play 16 games, adding to the 75 games that he played in his first spell at the club between 2009-12.
Te’o has now made 168 NRL appearances for Brisbane, Wests Tigers and South Sydney Rabbitohs – where he won an NRL title in 2014. He then crossed codes to rugby union where he went on to play 16 tests for England and twice for the British and Irish Lions.
Te’o represented Samoa in rugby league in 2008 and represented Queensland seven times in State of Origin between 2012-14. He has now committed to the Broncos for the 2021 season.
