Featherstone confirm Haley departure

Featherstone have confirmed that prop Michael Haley has left the club by mutual consent.

Haley, 25, joined Rovers from Sheffield in 2010 and made 33 appearances for the club.

Coach Daryl Powell said: “Due to work commitments Micky has left the club with immediate effect. I would like to wish Micky all the best for the future. He has been a great bloke to have around during his time at the club. He was an uncompromising prop who has played a big part in the club’s recent successes.”

The Ireland international, who came through the academy ranks at Leeds, suffered a serious knee injury in February 2011, and missed the end of last season with a broken foot.
